Exhibitions 2025

We are currently working on the exhibitions planning for summer 2025. More information about this will be available next year.

Exhibitions 2024: “Water”

During the summer openings, we organise various exhibitions featuring artists from the city, region, and country. In 2024, the tourist theme chosen was “Water.” Water is vital for the city, and Amersfoort finds its origins in Water. All the artworks from the four exhibitions in 2024 were connected to this theme. Below you can revisit the exhibitions that took place.

From Tuesday, August 20th to Saturday, September 21st, Galerie Absoluut will exhibit “Aqua-Art.” The exhibition features paintings, drawings, photographs, and visual art

From Tuesday, September 24th to Saturday, November 2nd, the Rietveldpaviljoen Foundation will exhibit the “Amersfoort Waterside City” exhibition, time reflected in the canal. The exhibition features photos that illuminate water from historical, economic, and recreational perspectives.
